As a child on a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania, I created entire worlds from a pile of rocks, some action figures, and my imagination. My upbringing sparked passions for storytelling and the outdoors, and I’ve been exploring ways to merge those interests ever since.
I have a degree in English Literature from Bucknell University and a decade of experience providing communications services for public and private sector clients as well as for non-profit organizations. Copywriting, video production, strategic planning, campaigns, branding, graphic design, social media, database integration, public relations, content management, publishing; you name it, I’ve done it with grace and aplomb.
I live and work in Portland, Oregon, aspiring bastion of creativity and environmental consciousness. I’m currently the communications manager for Columbia Land Trust, a regional non-profit working to conserve, restore, and connect people to the nature of the northwest. Before that, I served as communications director for the International Living Future Institute, an organization dedicating to the realization of a world that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative.
My surroundings have changed, but my purpose hasn’t. I help stories come to life in ways that serve the people and places that inspire me every day.
